Teeth Replacements

In case of Missing Teeth, whether single, multiple or all, it becomes very difficult to chew on your food. Some people also find it aesthetically displeasing. For these patients, various teeth replacement procedures exist to get back the functionality and/or the appearance they once prided themselves for. In either situation, it is possible to replace teeth depending on the needs and preferences of the patient. Based on patient preference, need and budget, we have all possible replacements for all kinds of patients (provided the procedure in question is clinically permissible and there are no medical complications). Replacement is divided in two categories namely Removable and Fixed.

Fixed Replacements

Partial Prosthesis/ Bridgework

Fixed Partial Prosthesis, also famously called Crowns, Capping or Bridgework are one of the best forms of replacements. Barring some constraints, they are highly popular and widely accepted. They restore the functionality helping a patient to chew food as if he had natural teeth. They are long lasting and even aesthetically pleasing.

Complete Mouth Restoration

The new and almost perfect technology has been taking shape in the form of DENTAL IMPLANTS which have recently gained huge acceptance and popularity as they don’t have any constraints (although medical complications should be considered). Dental Implants can be used to replace single, multiple and/or COMPLETELY MISSING TEETH.

Removable Replacements (Dentures)

Partial Dentures

In some cases, Bridgework can’t be made, and implants are not possible due to medical conditions. In such a case, patient can opt for Dentures which, although have a disadvantage of being removable, can be immensely helpful to the patient for functionality as well as appearance. In case of single missing and multiple missing teeth, Removable Partial Dentures (RPDs) can be artificially made and dispensed. They can be taken out and cleaned as per requirement of the patient.

Complete Dentures

Then, there are cases which have no remaining teeth in the mouth and have immense difficulty in chewing food. And Implant therapy might not be possible due to old age, medical history or other complications. Even for such patients, we have Complete Dentures (CDs) which provide complete sets of teeth for functionality and appearance too. Like the Partial ones, these too can be taken out and cleaned as required by the patient.
